Uncle Wiener’s Wholesale – Returns & Refunds Policy

At Uncle Wiener’s Wholesale, we are committed to providing transparent and fair return practices while maintaining compliance with Alberta retail standards. The following policy outlines the terms and conditions governing all returns, exchanges, warranties, and refunds.


1. General Return Policy

Customers may return eligible merchandise within 30 days of the original purchase date, provided that:

     A valid original receipt or proof of purchase is presented.

     The item is in original, unused condition with all original packaging, components, and accessories.

     The item is not listed under the Non-Returnable / Final Sale Items section.

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused.

In-Store Purchases – Refund Method

     Eligible items purchased in-store may be returned for full in-store credit only.

     No cash refunds will be issued on in-store purchases under any circumstance.


2. Non-Returnable / Final Sale Items

The following items are considered non-returnable, non-refundable, and final sale:

     Items marked “Final Sale”

     Clearance merchandise

     Custom or special-order products

     Assembled furniture

     Party Tents (for safety, structural integrity, and liability reasons)

Deposits placed on custom or special-order items are non-refundable if the customer cancels the order or requests changes.


3. Restocking Fee

A 20% restocking fee may apply to any approved return. This fee may be deducted from the refund or in-store credit amount at the discretion of management.

Online Orders Shipped to or Held at Store

If a customer places an online order with ship-to-store or hold-for-pickup, and then cancels the order for any customer-initiated reason, the 20% restocking fee will automatically apply, no exceptions.


4. Refund Method

Approved refunds will be issued as follows:

     In-store purchases: refunded in the form of in-store credit only.

     Online purchases: refunded to the original form of payment, unless unavailable, in which case store credit may be issued.

     Shipping, delivery, freight, and assembly fees are non-refundable.


5. Warranty Information

Most products include a 90-day warranty against manufacturing defects unless otherwise specified.
 This warranty excludes:

     Items marked “Final Sale”

     Clearance items

     Items damaged due to misuse, improper installation, or neglect

Some products may carry a longer manufacturer or store warranty period.
 Such extended warranties will be clearly marked on the individual product, packaging, or product description.

All warranty claims require:

     Valid proof of purchase

     Inspection and approval by Uncle Wiener’s Wholesale or the manufacturer


6. Exchanges

Eligible items may be exchanged within the 30-day return period and are subject to the same conditions as standard returns.
 Exchanges may be refused if product condition requirements are not met.


7. Management Discretion

Uncle Wiener’s Wholesale reserves the right to:

     Refuse any return or exchange that does not meet policy conditions

     Determine refund eligibility

     Apply restocking fees when necessary

     Make final decisions regarding warranty approval

All decisions made by management are final.
